LED Phototherapy

Rejuvenate, rebalance and restore

LED phototherapy is an extremely versatile treatment which can help to target conditions such as hyperpigmentation, ageing, rosacea and acne.* At Bow House Skin Clinic in Aylesbury & Tring, we use 3D-skintech’s market-leading full-canopy LED technology with 4 colour wavelengths to treat different skin types and conditions.

This non-ablative treatment works by using light energy to target the skin’s layers reaching as far down as the hypodermis. This helps to stimulate the production of new collagen while accelerating the repair and replenishment of damaged skin cells.* Skin may appear smoother with uneven pigmentation and sun spots fading and pores looking less noticeable. Inflammation may be reduced and healing is promoted. Better still, this gentle, non-invasive treatment only takes 10 minutes which makes it ideal to add to treatments such as mesotherapy and micro-needling to boost results further.*

  • Encourages healing in acne, scars, burns and wounds*
  • Boosts collagen production for an anti-ageing effect*
  • Targets concerns such as acne, hyperpigmentation and environmental damage*
  • 10-minute treatment that’s ideal for complementing other procedures*

The power of light therapy

At Bow House skin clinic in Aylesbury & Tring, Hertfordshire, our experienced team uses advanced LED technology in 4 different specific wavelengths to meet our clients’ needs and address their concerns. All therapy is non-ablative and targets the skin’s lower layers.

Red light therapy helps to trigger collagen and elastin production to fight the signs of ageing. It may also improve circulation and reduce enlarged pores.*

Blue light therapy has powerful antibacterial properties to help treat acne. It also destroys the bacteria that can cause acne.

Yellow/amber light therapy is calming and soothing making it ideal for treating eczema, psoriasis, rosacea and sensitive skin. It also relaxes the nervous system while boosting the immune system and reducing inflammation.

Green light therapy can help to reduce existing pigmentation by targeting cells that produce melanin. Skin looks brighter and more radiant.*

This is a very gentle treatment with no downtime. Your skin may look a little pink immediately after treatment but that will quickly subside.*

  6. Is LED phototherapy safe?
